Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller has sounded the alarm over escalating attacks on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities, warning that leftist groups are carrying out what he described as a “domestic terrorist sedition” against the federal government.
According to Miller, ICE detention centers have increasingly come under siege in recent days, raising concerns about the safety of federal officers and government property.
In response, the Department of Justice announced it is deploying the Joint Terrorism Task Force to ICE’s Broadview facility near Chicago, a move aimed at containing the unrest and preventing further escalation.
“All necessary resources will be utilized,” Miller stated, stressing that the administration will not hesitate to act decisively to restore order and protect federal agencies from violent attacks.
The situation comes amid growing tensions surrounding immigration enforcement in the United States, as political clashes between the administration and left-wing activist groups intensify.
